July 22, 2021
HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Crawford/Erie/Lawrence/Mercer) announces classrooms and laboratories are ready to use at the Thiel College Rhodehouse Science Building for graduate students in the physician assistant and speech-language pathology programs. The inaugural class of physician assistant students was also recognized during a ribbon-cutting ceremony he attended.
“Today signified a dedication to address a growing need in patient services,” Wentling said. “We are always looking for ways to improve the quality of care for residents.”
According to Thiel College, the institution received funding from the Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, Mercer County Industrial Development Authority, Sharon Regional Medical Center and individual donors.
“I would like to thank President Dr. Susan Traverso for her continued support of students. I am grateful for the Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program and donors for providing the necessary funding to help students reach their full potential.”
