Wentling Announces $143,687 Grant to Help Create Farrell Finance Director Position

HARRISBURG – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) announced today the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) has approved a $143,687 matching grant for the city of Farrell to establish a full-time finance director position.

“This grant lets Farrell bring on a full-time finance director who will be tasked with making sure every dollar of taxpayers’ hard-earned money is working to build a stronger future for Farrell and its residents,” said Wentling.

These funds are provided through DCED’s Strategic Management Planning Program. This program is designed to fund development and implementation of multi-year municipal financial management programs and strategies.
