Wentling: More Than $2,000 in Unclaimed Property Returned during Health Fair and Senior Expo
July 24, 2026
GREENVILLE – State Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) on Friday announced more than $2,000 of unclaimed property was returned to its rightful owners during Wentling’s Health Fair and Senior Expo last week at the Hickory VFW in Hermitage.
“With help from Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity’s staff at the expo, we were able to match up nearly 30 folks with more than $2,000 in items such as uncashed and unclaimed checks, credit balances, refunds, rebates and checking accounts,” said Wentling. “My thanks to Pennsylvania Treasury Regional Program Relationship Manager Jesse Streeter for coming to the expo and helping connect Pennsylvanians with their unclaimed property.”
The Pennsylvania Treasury currently holds billions of dollars in unclaimed property and actively works to reunite individuals, families and businesses with their assets. Residents and organizations are encouraged to search the Treasury’s database to see if they are owed money.

Wentling’s Hermitage (724-734-5980) or Greenville (724-638-4101) offices for more information about the Treasury’s unclaimed property program.
