Wentling: $1.14 Million in Transportation Funding for Hermitage
August 18, 2026
GREENVILLE – Rep. Parke Wentling (R-Mercer) today announced $1.14 million in funding for the City of Hermitage from the Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF). The money will be used to rehabilitate three local roads in the Hermitage Industrial Area.
“Good roads may not always grab headlines, but they are essential to keeping people safe, businesses moving and our local economy growing,” Wentling said. “This $1.14 million will allow Hermitage to fix three roads serving the city’s industrial area, improving access for employees and the businesses that provide jobs throughout our region.”
Funds from the MTF may be used for the development, rehabilitation and enhancement of transportation assets to existing communities, streetscapes, lighting, sidewalk enhancements, pedestrian safety, connectivity of transportation assets and transit-oriented development.
